Arnis Sauka
Research Associate
Arnis Sauka holds a Higher Professional Education degree in business administration from Vidzeme University College and Master of Science degree in business administration from the University of Latvia. Currently he is research fellow at SSE Riga/The TeliaSonera Institute and PhD candidate at University of Siegen, School of Economic Disciplines, Germany. His main research interests are in the field of entrepreneurship with focus on small firms’ productive and unproductive value creation and development processes. Prior joining SSE Riga/ TeliaSonera Institute in 2005, Arnis Sauka was a visiting PhD candidate at Jönköping International Business School, Sweden (2004-2005) and tutor/ teacher fellow at SSEES/ University College London, United Kingdom (2003-2004). His research experience in entrepreneurship includes participation in seminars, workshops and PhD courses in United Kingdom, Sweden and Germany; presentations in international conferences in Denmark, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Germany, Sweden and Finland as well as participation in several projects in Latvia. Arnis Sauka has also more than 8 years of practical experience in business management working for different companies in Latvia.
