List of BICEPS Partners

BICEPS is sometimes referred to as the ‘unofficial research arm of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga’. Since its inception in 2002, SSE-Riga and BICEPS have been close partners in the teaching and research in economics. Some of BICEPS research staff also have teaching positions at SSE-Riga. As of April 2005, BICEPS has moved into the premises of SSE-Riga to take fuller advantage of synergies between the two institutions. |

Some of the research staff at BICEPS are also members of the TeliaSonera Institute, and BICEPS is instrumental in carrying out data collection and research on entrepreneurship in Latvia and other issues (telecommunications). |

FMG is the lead partner in the RICAFE2 project, financed by the DG Research of the European Union. The project focuses on the study of knowledge-based entrepreneurship in Europe. BICEPS is a member of eight-team strong international team. |

Partners in the Mutual Learning Programme (formerly Peer Review Programme) of the European Union, financed by the DG Employment. Along with OSB and IES, BICEPS helps to organize the Peer Review Programme. |

SITE is located at Stockholm School of Economics in Stockholm. SITE has played an important role in the establishment of BICEPS and the early years of its operation. To date, BICEPS continues to maintain close links with SITE and its ‘family’, including CEFIR in Moscow, WISER in Warsaw, and KEI in Kiyev. |
